There\u2019s no <em>something for nothing. <\/em>The people of Gansu are trading something you need, for something they need. Who\u2019s aiding the trade? JD\u2019s logistics. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From gesture to capability&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>What JD Health\u2019s red apple campaign ultimately shows is how far CSR in China has moved from gesture to capability. This is not charity designed to be seen, but charity designed to work \u2013 rooted in logistics, compliance, geography, and reciprocity. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>By tying rural production to urban consumption, and consumption back to rural healthcare delivery, JD is sketching out a model where responsibility is no longer something companies add on, but something they operate<\/strong>.
